(Yep. I get paid to hike and write about it.)
This website/blog is not about any of that. It is about what it is actually like day in and day out as a creative.
I’ve always doodled. On notebooks, napkins, my hands, and thousands of sheets of paper.
A few years ago, at the urging of my family and friends, I turned my attention to drawing line art for people to enjoy and color.
Word got out and people started asking, “Can I buy that?” and “Can you teach me?”
And, a whole new trail appeared in my life. At the same time, many women that I knew were trying to figure out what was next for them as creatives. I share my drawings, successes, and frustrations with you so you know you are not alone in your creative endeavor. And, maybe even make you laugh.
The artwork is inspired by the nature I see while hiking; taking the kids to the zoo, botanical gardens and aquarium; or enjoying our family vacation.
Thanks for visiting and Doodle On!
